Privacy Policy
Effective Date: [2026.04.24]
Last Updated: [2026.04.24]
SCALE ZONE LTD ("SCALE ZONE LTD", "we", "us", or "our") provides this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with our website at scale-zone.com (the "Site") and any related services, communications, and future products operated by SCALE ZONE LTD or our Affiliates (as defined in Section 15) (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how SCALE ZONE LTD processes personal information when you visit the Site, contact us, or otherwise interact with the Services. It applies to visitors, prospective clients, clients, and other users of the Services.
Additional or service-specific privacy notices may apply to specific products offered by our Affiliates. If those notices conflict with this Policy for a given product, the more protective notice governs for that product.
2. Who We Are
The data controller responsible for your personal information is:
- SCALE ZONE LTD
- Registered office: [Registered Office Address]
- Company registration number: [Company Registration Number]
- Contact: support@scale-zone.com
If you have questions about this Policy or our processing activities, please use the contact details above.
3. Information We Collect
We collect information in three ways:
a) Information you provide directly. When you complete our contact form or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you submit, which may include your name, email address, phone number, and the content of your message, plus any other details you voluntarily share.
b) Information collected automatically. When you use the Services we automatically receive certain technical information, including IP address, approximate geolocation inferred from IP, user agent, referrer URL, pages viewed, session duration, timestamps, device and browser characteristics, screen size, language preference, and interaction events. This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, server logs, analytics SDKs, and Google reCAPTCHA risk scoring.
c) Information from third parties. We may receive information from the service providers listed in Section 8, including aggregated analytics data and anti-abuse signals.
4. How We Collect Information
We collect personal information through the following methods:
- Direct submission (contact form, email, phone).
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).
- Server logs and hosting-provider access logs.
- Analytics services (Google Analytics).
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 device- and behavior-signal scoring.
5. How We Use Your Information (Purposes of Use)
SCALE ZONE LTD uses personal information for the following purposes. Each purpose is supported by a legal basis set out in Section 6.
- To respond to your inquiries, requests, and communications.
- To operate, maintain, secure, monitor, and improve the Services.
- To analyze visitor behavior (aggregate and individual) in order to improve content, layout, performance, and conversion.
- To develop, test, benchmark, and launch new products and services — including products offered by SCALE ZONE LTD or our Affiliates under other brand names.
- To create de-identified, aggregated, or anonymized data sets for business intelligence, research, publication of industry trends, and internal training (including training or evaluating machine-learning models). Once data has been de-identified it is no longer personal information for the purposes of this Policy.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, spam, denial-of-service activity, and other security incidents, including by using Google reCAPTCHA v3 risk scoring on the contact form.
- To comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, establish or defend legal claims, and protect SCALE ZONE LTD's rights, property, personnel, and the safety of our users and the public.
- To enforce our Terms of Use and any other applicable terms.
- To share personal information with Affiliates for the purposes above (see Section 15).
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA / CPRA.
6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for non-essential cookies, analytics, and marketing technologies. You can withdraw consent at any time through our consent banner or browser controls.
- Legitimate interests — for Services security, aggregate analytics, product development, and the protection of our rights and those of our users, balanced against your rights and freedoms.
- Performance of a contract — when we process your contact information to respond to or follow up on an inquiry.
- Legal obligation — when processing is required to comply with applicable law.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies. Our consent banner (shown on first visit) lets you accept, decline, or customize non-essential categories. The categories below correspond to the Google consent-mode framework we implement:
- ad_storage — advertising cookies. Reserved; not currently set by SCALE ZONE LTD.
- analytics_storage — analytics cookies. Enables Google Analytics to measure Services usage.
- functionality_storage — functional preferences (e.g. your selected language, your consent selection itself).
- personalization_storage — content personalization. Reserved; not currently set.
- security_storage — strictly necessary storage used for security and anti-abuse. Always enabled regardless of consent choice.
How to change your choice. You can re-open the consent banner by clearing the cookie-consent entry in your browser's localStorage for this Site, or by using your browser's cookie settings to delete site data. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew.
8. Third-Party Services
The Services rely on the following third-party providers. Each provider acts as a processor on our behalf or as an independent controller of the data it receives under its own terms.
- Google Analytics — pageviews, sessions, approximate geolocation inferred from IP, device class, engagement events. IP addresses may be truncated or anonymized. See Google's privacy policy. Opt-out: Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google reCAPTCHA v3 on the contact form — browser and device characteristics, interaction signals, and a risk score. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Web Services — Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3 — static hosting and content-delivery. AWS access logs may include IP addresses and request metadata. See AWS Privacy Notice.
- Generative AI providers — where a Generative AI Feature is offered (see Section 17), inputs you submit may be transmitted to third-party AI providers (for example, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar) under those providers' terms.
Third-party providers may update their data-processing practices independently. We review the services we use on a reasonable cadence.
9. How We Share Information
We share personal information only:
- With service providers acting on our behalf under written confidentiality and data-processing agreements (see Section 8).
- With our Affiliates (see Section 15) for the purposes set out in Section 5.
- In response to legal process, to comply with applicable law, or to respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
- Where necessary to protect rights, property, or safety of SCALE ZONE LTD, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a business transfer (merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or insolvency) — see Section 18.
- With your consent or at your direction.
10. International Data Transfers
Our service providers — including Google and Amazon Web Services — are headquartered in, and may process data in, the United States and other countries. Where personal information of individuals located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or another lawful transfer mechanism recognized by applicable law.
11. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, and for any additional period required by applicable law, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations. Analytics data retention matches the retention horizon configured in Google Analytics. Cookies expire per the time-to-live indicated in Section 7. After the applicable retention period, we delete, destroy, or de-identify personal information.
12. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risk, including encryption of data in transit. Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a personal-data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected individuals and, where required, the relevant supervisory authority, in accordance with applicable law.
13. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information:
EU / EEA / UK (GDPR, UK GDPR). Access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection to processing, withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing), and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA). Right to Know what we collect; Right to Delete; Right to Correct; Right to Opt-Out of "sale" or "sharing" (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising); Right to Limit use of Sensitive Personal Information (we do not collect Sensitive PI in the CCPA sense); and Right to Non-Discrimination for exercising CCPA rights.
Other U.S. states. If you reside in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon, Texas, or another state with a comprehensive consumer privacy law (VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA, UCPA, OR CPA, TDPSA), you may exercise the rights outlined here that correspond to the rights granted by your state's law, including rights of access, deletion, correction, portability, and opt-out.
Appeal process. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email within 60 days. We will respond in writing within the period required by applicable law.
How to submit a request. Email support@scale-zone.com from the address associated with the information, or include enough detail for us to locate and verify the relevant information. We may request additional identifying information to verify your request before we act on it. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by applicable law.
No discrimination. We will not deny, charge different prices for, or provide a different level of Services to you because you exercised any of these rights.
14. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for business-to-business use and are not directed to children under 16 (EU / UK) or under 13 (United States, COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us at support@scale-zone.com and we will take steps to delete it.
15. Affiliates & Related Products
"Affiliate" means any entity that directly or indirectly controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with SCALE ZONE LTD, where "control" means the power to direct the management of the entity, whether by ownership of voting equity, by contract, or otherwise.
We may share your information with our Affiliates to provide integrated services, operate shared infrastructure, support product development across the SCALE ZONE LTD group, comply with legal obligations, and improve our collective offerings. Affiliates may operate services under distinct brand names; this Policy applies to all such services unless a specific Affiliate publishes a separate, more protective privacy notice, in which case the more protective notice governs for that Affiliate's service.
SCALE ZONE LTD may publish or operate software, applications, and other digital products under its own name, under Affiliate brand names, or under digital- publisher or code-signing identities belonging to SCALE ZONE LTD or its Affiliates. Personal information processed by those products is governed by this Policy unless a product-specific privacy notice applies, in which case the more protective notice governs for that product.
16. Automated Decision-Making & Profiling
We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you based solely on automated processing (including profiling). Google reCAPTCHA v3 produces a risk score that informs our anti-abuse controls; it does not on its own block a human user from contacting us.
17. Generative AI Features
The Services may include features that use generative artificial intelligence ("Generative AI Features" or "GenAI Features"), such as AI-assisted content generation, conversational assistants, summarization, or similar functionality powered by third-party AI models (for example, models provided by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar vendors). Where a Generative AI Feature is offered:
- Inputs you submit to a Generative AI Feature (prompts, questions, uploaded text, or other content — "AI Inputs") may be transmitted to the third-party AI provider for processing.
- Do not submit sensitive or regulated data. You agree not to submit to any Generative AI Feature any information that is confidential, proprietary, regulated, or sensitive, including but not limited to: government- issued identifiers, financial-account or payment-card data, protected health information, biometric data, login credentials or authentication secrets, personal information of individuals other than yourself without authorization, or information subject to export controls. SCALE ZONE LTD does not guarantee the confidentiality of AI Inputs.
- Outputs are provided on an "as-is" basis. Outputs produced by Generative AI Features may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or offensive and should be independently verified before you rely on them. See Section 8 (No Professional Advice) and Section 14 (Limitation of Liability) of our Terms of Use.
- Third-party data practices. Third-party AI providers process AI Inputs under their own terms and privacy practices. Where contractually feasible we configure Generative AI Features to prevent AI vendors from using AI Inputs to train their publicly available models; however, SCALE ZONE LTD does not warrant any particular vendor configuration or contractual term. You should review the vendor terms linked from the relevant Generative AI Feature.
- Our uses. We may log, store, and review AI Inputs and outputs to secure the Services, prevent abuse, improve Generative AI Feature quality, and comply with applicable law.
- Voluntary. Use of any Generative AI Feature is voluntary; you may decline to use it.
Your use of Generative AI Features is also governed by Section 9 of our Terms of Use.
18. Business Transfers
If SCALE ZONE LTD is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as a business asset. The recipient will be bound to protect personal information under terms at least as protective as this Policy, or we will provide notice and, where required by law, seek consent.
19. De-Identified & Aggregated Data
We may create and use de-identified, pseudonymized, or aggregated information that does not identify you for any lawful purpose, including the publication of industry trends and the training or evaluation of machine-learning models. We maintain and use such information in de-identified form and do not attempt to re-identify it except as permitted by applicable law.
20. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (for example, a banner on the Site) where required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of a revision indicates your acceptance of the revised Policy.
